Welcome. If you have found your way to this site you may be seeking help with making some changes in your life. Congratulations on your awareness and courage in taking this important step.

Change can be a difficult process; growth and transitions are often painful. Sometimes change is initiated from forces outside of our control such as death, job loss, discovering infidelity, or a request for separation or divorce. Other times we are aware that we need to make some changes as the ways we have been managing our existence are no longer sufficient. Either way, I’m here to help.

I work with individuals, couples, and families. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and a licensed creative arts therapist (LCAT) in New York state. I use multiple approaches to assist clients. Central to my work is the belief that humans are creative and relational beings. The relationship one has to oneself (intrapsychic) as well as the relationships one has to others (interpersonal) are vital to our mental and emotional wellbeing. I adopt a growth perspective in my work, meaning that I see “good growth” as the goal of our time together.

I am a Clinical Fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I am also Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director of the MFT program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology.
